If you are like me you are associating retro and vintage with old things. But whats the difference of retro and vintage objects?
“Retro style is a style that is imitative or consciously derivative of lifestyles, trends, or art forms from the historical past” (wiki), so it is in fact a product recently manufactured which looks old.
On the other hand vintage describes a product actually originating from the past and is still in use, such as second hand vintage cloths.
On a side note, items which surpass 100 years are considered antique instead (wiki).
